- Almost all properties are understaffed.
- Pay is very low compared to other companies.
- Maintenance is expected to complete their responsibilities with extremely low budgets.
- Upper management's focus seemed to shift from customer service to MONEY, MONEY, MONEY. As an ACM, I was basically expected to come up with creative ways to charge the residents more money in fees.
- Some CMs and RMs are MICROMANAGERS. Your workload really depends on your supervisor's work style.
- Managers have very little supervision and often take advantage. Managers will often leave hours early or come in hours late. You are forced to lie to residents about your manager's whereabouts. One manager required a Leasing Professional to come help her property because they were understaffed, then the manager left to get a mani/pedi. Obvious lack of respect for others' time and workload.
- RMs will almost always take the side of the manager's when dealing with conflicts among staff.
- Some RMs show extreme favoritism. Suck up to your boss, and you will continue to advance.
