Pros
There is a really cool coffee machine in the kitchen. But you need to bring your own pods/creamer or milk. But you can you it whenever.
Cons
The company's culture is negative. I was to come in and take a split position with another employee. Nothing was fair or consistent. She got her own office space while I had to sit in a demo room like I was a goldfish in a fish bowl. This did get reconciled eventually, but I legit had to go through it to get my own work space. She got to use a laptop that actually worked properly while I had one that wouldn't hold a charge and would turn off randomly and the microphone didn't work on it. I had reported several times that it needed to be fixed or replaced and was only told good luck. I made a few reports of abuse from other team members, but management does not care. They promote a positive team environment, but in truth the team just belittles and demeans you all in the name of "learning" and "teaching". Public humiliation is a common theme. Don't trust your supposed partner or one unit person you work with. She will only set you up for failure by giving you wrong information all the while not allowing you to go and get the correct information on your own. Basically, don't trust this place. Your mental sanity will be at stake. The gaslighting is so real. Telling someone that you are uncomfortable with how they treat you because they abuse you verbally and then them turning around and telling you that it's because YOU don't understand the culture differences was crazy. You can't tell me that EVERYONE in Columbia is a jerk. I'm pretty sure it's just you. Beside all of that, there are no health benefits. There is no PTO even though they advertise that there is. There is only vacation days that you have to get manager approval to use. Meaning, if you have a last minute emergency, you have to either work from wherever you are or take an unpaid day. I was at the hospital with my grandfather who fell and had to get stitches working. Training is terrible because they legit only train you on 25% of the job. The rest you just have to figure out on your own and if you mess up, you have officer Columbia crucify you. Point is, if you are a parent, don't work here. You'll never get to do anything with your kids because you'll always be working. If you're just a generally happy person who is not miserable, don't work here. It's like a bunch of miserable people got together and decided to bring on happy people so they can spread their misery on to them and watch them suffer. There's really only TWO people on the team that make it worth while and they are literally the smartest people on the team, but the whole team talks bad about them and tears them down. That would be the Utah boys. Two happy and bubbly people who are brilliant that get crapped on everyday. It's so sad to witness greatness being ripped apart.
