Pros

Non-management employees are generally young and enjoyable. I didn't entirely loathe my compensation package. I was underpaid for the work being done, but they paid for 100% of the health insurance premium so I'll give them that.

Cons

Absolutely everything else about this company is con. Raises are a joke unless you have leverage over management and they're desperate to have you stay. Otherwise, they'll give you pennies and act like they did it to your benefit. Titles mean absolutely nothing at this company. People who have worked hard and slaved away for the company remained in the level 1 position for YEARS. If you join this company, expect to be considered an entry level employee despite doing as much as a supervisor for another organization. If you are not in the Process Development department, your opinion is not respected. And if you join want to join PD, but you are not from Keck Graduate Institute, expect to feel like an outcast. Majority of their PD department is from the same institution and they very well to make that known. The work-life balance is ATROCIOUS. You. Will. Not. Get. Time. Off. This company expects you to cancel vacations and work during the holidays, work 10 hours a day at the minimum, and work early hours on weekends for things that are avoidable. They simply don't care or respect anyone's time. Upper management does not care about the safety of employees at this company. Several injuries and accidents happened during my time there. Moral of the story: they will butter you up, say they're one big happy family, and then work you to the ground, show no appreciation for that work, and chastise you for having any complaints about management's performance. They are completely unreceptive to any form of criticism. If you've made it this far into the review, kudos. If you decide you still want to risk your sanity and work for this abhorrent company, good luck. However, there will be no sympathy when you're crying on the floor of your bathroom debating if you should quit or stick it out for another few months in fear the next company is going to ask why you're leaving your current position after 2 months. Yes 2 months. Because you'll know you want to quit after the first.
