I have been at California Cryobank for 8 years. One of the many things that drew me to the company is the extremely high morals and ethics of the founders which spills over to the employees. Even if there is a higher cost or easier way of doing something the company will go the extra mile to ensure it is done the best way possible.
I am also proud to be part of a company with a lot of employee diversity that both assists with starting and growing families and provides services to protecting with services including cord blood and cord tissue processing and storage. The company has grown significantly while I have been here and it has been a great experience to be part of a successful company.
CCB does a good job of providing work/life balance. Management understands the importance of family and manages accordingly.
It is entertaining to be part of such an interesting company and share what I do with others; the same conversation can be both hilarious and informative.
Cons
The relatively small size of the company can limit upward potential. However, the company has grown a lot recently and is continuing to grow which presents more possibilities of progress within CCB. Another result of rapid growth it that sometimes hard to get the attention of senior management. They are very interested in the company and employees but I think sometimes they try to do too much.
