Management preaches high and acts low. 1) As fresher(low cost) interested to work in networking application. OR If Do not have any job/alternative to support family (Beware if more experience). OR Somehow just wants to stay in NCR and like to work on application of small CPE equipment. 2) If luck favors then you get chance to work along with remote team (reasonably better persons). 3) Internet is free (But you will be watched and pointed out).
Cons
Aspirants dreaming/assuming of small technical team in coordination with each other i.e. earthly paradise in IT world, must.. Get the review from any ex-employees in India. True revelations may be waiting for you i.e. the way Indian center is being micromanaged. Genexis mostly scavenge on talent pool left by local Big IT companies and asks its employees for any referrals. In short analogous to what "pitcher plant" do for greedy insects. In detail it’s too much. But let me highlight some. 1) Product/work scope is limited to small CPE maintenance and depends on Europe team for every direction. 2) Not an equal opportunity employer, discriminating acts. 3) In case you joins the hit list then be ready for. - Unwanted 'Stress' due to bossiness (up) to the hilt, as it will become part and parcel of daily routine. - You will be targeted in daily meetings for pitty issues like asking simple query to someone working from European side without local permission or sudden urgent but un-informed leaves. - Firm believer of carrot (10%) and stick (90% every time) policy (Using agile process to apply same) - Arrogance and team politics go hand in hand here and makes it harder for employee to raise genuine work concerns on available forums. - Not suitable for female/ “employees of Big IT”, due to inflexible attitude. 4) Although cry European standards in job offers in the claims. In actual not even meet standards of small software IT company. 5) Employees regularly got fired on ad-hoc basis, with harassments like one-sided breach of job agreements causing financial losses. 6) Basic office facilities seems un affordable to them. - Cabs/food in case late night due to work (you can't even dare to claim). - Office get open/close like Nehru palace shop every day. - Be prepared for occasional salary delay (not due to banks). - No good food / comfortable space for lunch. 7) Genexis is not a brand here and is very much cost oriented for salary (as it’s primarily a low cost center). Not a single guy get promoted in India (from start), they either get fired or left. You will hardly think of appraisal once you join (very bad culture) them. (Not exaggerating at all, they live up to it bit by bit)
