Pros

People are fun, you can have a good time chatting with your coworkers. That's about it.

Cons

-Management will literally call you names when you bring up concerns. -You constantly work long hours with no additional compensation. -Will change your job duties randomly, differing from the initial job you interviewed for, and you can't decline those changes. No additional compensation for added duties. -"Promotions" are under-the-table, affecting only your work, but not your title, so they can avoid giving raises. They tell you you're amazing for taking on extra work, but don't compensate you for it. -Manager constantly interrupts and talks over you and will not listen when you speak. Can barely even get out a sentence without being steamrolled. -Senior mgmt is cliquey. Feels like you can't approach HR with concerns without facing retaliation from your direct supervisor. -Labor is outsourced overseas, to a company with incompetent training, yet understaffed and overworked in the main office. -Misleading about advancement opportunities. -Most workers are 1099, so the company can avoid paying benefits. VERY strict expectations of its contractors, without proper benefits or compensation.

Pros

George Street is a wonderful company to work for. I had a great experience with the management who are always friendly and willing to help. I enjoyed making my own schedule and meeting with clients to explain their packages offered. Everything about this was great.

Cons

You are an independent contractor, which is obviously downside since you have to do quarterly taxes. Otherwise there’s not many cons!

Pros

Get to work with passionate talent members

Cons

literally everything. pay is not equivalent to the level of work. not only do you have to manage CS (customer service) duties by facing brutal conversations with screaming brides who HATE their photos and videos, you also have to work with photographers and videographers who love what they do but get paid below minimum wage. you will either burn out or get fired. I've worked from 8 AM to 8PM on multiple occasions to complete the work of TWO departments and never managed to catch up or get ahead. The pay is only $55k plus out of state insurance that doesn't cover anything. You will essentially be paying out of pocket to work her on the HQ side. Shady business model that hides behind the name of OPG.
