Pros
Fantastic benefits package-- especially for NPO sector. Some of the programs hosted by field offices are very rewarding to the communities. Most support staff and field office attorneys are incredibly kind and hardworking people who want to do better.
Cons
The management is incompetent and stuck in the 70s. There are people in leadership simply because they have been there for 30+ years, even though they do not get the results the program needs. Some leadership members are also bullies and will tear one down for suggesting a new path. Everyone says that a situation is "out of their hands," so nothing ever changes or moves forward. Zero accountability. There is no existent strategic plan. Leadership gets mad when you ask about it. There is no room for growth. Information is siloed and leveraged for power. High turn over. 7 young and talented attorneys have quit in the last year. Just overall toxic culture (especially in the central office).
