Management is Horrible - Contract Administrator Gerber Technology Employee Review

The direct manager of this department is horrible every day is a dice roll as to what you are walking in to attitude wise. the manager does not have a general understanding of what the job entails, belittles their employees and discusses other coworkers issue with you and others. Constantly micro manages and offers no positive suggestions or feedback and in turns questions every move you make. There has been many complaints of this and nothing is ever done either by upper management or human resources. You will not be appreciated in this role, instead you will be the scapegoat in any issues that shall arise, usually out of your control. You will never be able to have sick days, as you will be give the cold shoulder and a huge attitude upon returning. Lastly, don't expect to have any life outside of this job, as this will be frowned upon. Working at home is never an option though you are provided a laptop, and are probably told you can during the interview process given the circumstance, like a sick child, that's just one of the many lies told to get you in the door. There has been a significant turn over in this department due to these issues and many others.
