mid - Internship Giga Energy Employee Review

This review is specifically about the recruiting and onboarding experience. Over the past 5-months I've interviewed at more than seven of the top hyperscalers and data center developers, and I was shocked by how impersonal and unfriendly most of their recruiting teams were. It felt sooo inhumane. I hadn't dealt with HR much in years, and I couldn't believe how cold and transactional the process has become across the industry. Giga Energy was a completely different experience. From the moment I started working with Alex and the HR team on my interviews and onboarding, I felt very supported. They were transparent about every step of the process, gave clear and timely feedback, and made me feel like a person rather than a number. If you're considering Giga, that recruiting and onboarding experience alone says a lot about how the company treats its people.

Giga is an incredible company building at the intersection of the two most important technologies of our generation: Bitcoin and AI. Everything at Giga is high quality. Speed, trust, and ownership are real values here and drive how things get done. The team is exceptional and full of mission driven people who care about the work and put in the effort. Pay is super competitive and benefits are solid for a startup. Culture is straightforward and helpful, flat structure so you can reach leadership directly (CEO responds when you need something), remote work and office policies are very sensible, and you get all the tools and resources to do your job at the highest level. Great talent keeps joining because the growth is real and the work actually moves the needle. This is a world class team and if you have the opportunity to work here, I would highly recommend it.
