Pros
It's an easy job when it comes to retail. Average day-to-day responsibilities are few but tedious and repetetive.
Cons
The pay structure almost makes no sense. It's all charted into a spreadsheet as to what and when your hourly pay will be. You have decades of experience? nope, minimum wage. You've been in management before and made a livable income in the past? nope, you're starting at the very bottom of the pay-scale. Minimum wage went up? sorry, no raise to keep the gap between upper and lower staff the same. That's pretty much my biggest gripe. If you enjoy living in one the the highest cost-of-living states in the country, but enjoy making $15,000-$20,000 a year as a cashier or $25,000-$30,000 a year as an ASM; then this is the company for you!
