Pros

Tight-knit community among internal staff, good relationships with some external staff, frequent advancement opportunities, startup vibe in some offices, seminar training opportunities, adds a lot of HR experience to your resume very quickly, great Regional Manager who provides mentorship + gets in to help during tough times, hilarious stories to last a lifetime.

Cons

Internal staff is overworked and it can be crippling. This all stems from a "client-first" attitude and an inability of the company to say no to challenges (very committed to clients!). As a result, a healthy work-life balance is tough. It's very much a sink-or-swim environment, especially for a new recruiter. One account manager in particular is especially difficult to work with, to the point of them being verbally abusive. However, they are the company's primary earner (or at least was in 2015), so I can't imagine the company would let them go. Some people say that the driving is a big con. I didn't mind it because I, like all others, was paid for the time driving + mileage, but here's a solution to those recruiters that see it as an issue: hire a driver!

Thank you for your feedback - we've worked hard to fill our internal positions and make sure all of our offices are fully staffed - some are even over staffed now!

Pros

I've worked with similar companies before, so I can appreciate the difference. Communication here is much better, and assignments don't change constantly without warning. Recruiters usually check in after placement and try to be as helpful as possible. The benefits and pay rates also compare favorably to what's offered locally.

Cons

Compensation varies by contractor and project.

Pros

• Reasonable deadlines • My manager is there to guide and support when necessary. • Always feels great to match people with the right job for them • Pleasant work environment where many lasting friendships have been made • Lots of restaurants around the office • Company events (even personal milestones are celebrated)

Cons

No. This was my first job straight out of college, and I’m still here.
