Pros

(If you can call them that) The startup where dreams of growth, dignity, and common sense come to die. But hey, at least the podcast lives forever. Leadership? Imagine a caricature of bravado without the charm, logic, or self-awareness. Give him a mic, a dim corner, and a premium networking subscription — boom, Thought Leader unlocked. His greatest philosophical insight? “Parle-G is the most respected biscuit because everyone addresses it with a G.” While other founders are building tech, this one’s busy building metaphors about glucose biscuits. Townhalls? Basically hostage negotiations with stale jokes and staler egos. And then there's HR — paranoia central. Think authoritarian energy without the charm, strategy, or utility. Policies include: Any disagreement = “performance issue” Sick leave = pay docked Exit interviews = add masala and make it public Strategy department? A noisy PPT machine. Every day’s a pivot: Monday: we're building fintech Wednesday: no wait, it's SaaS Friday: actually its trend setting for D2C

Cons

Stayed silent too long. Thought things might improve. They didn’t. They clap for themselves in echo chambers. Some of us chose to leave with our silence and sanity intact. Career growth? 100% guaranteed to be: Downward They claimed to be building the "Stripe for Emotions." Turns out that meant monetizing burnout and rebranding gaslighting as innovation.

Pros

It had some but situation here is worsening day by day

Cons

HR department is real hell here. They make sure even a single policy doesn't benefit any of the employee. They do mass massacre firing They pivoted from unlimited leave to limited leave and now they pivoted to pro-rata based system where you get monthly leave accrued. Over that 1 casual and 1 healthcare leave you receive, even then you can't plan your month as healthcare leave can only be applied 2 days before. Cheap HR policies for sure. Office ambience is again poor, no cafeteria no pool/TT area, no gym . Literally nothing but still they want employees to come to office 3 days a week. Not sure what they wanna get out of it. With AI included, people expect 3 days task to be completed in half day and person doing it should take full ownership. How is person suppose to take ownership when AI is the one doing most of it.

Pros

well the only pro is Person who leads Ops is level headed and down to earth.. understands certain things.. There are no other pros from organisations standpoint ohh yes except for timely salary.. which has also got delayed at times by couple of days.. but will discount that

Cons

Tons of things where do we even start - Founder group is busy siphoning off the money, Because every year appraisal comes they do nasty things..so that they’ll give poor appraisals in lieu of that.. - HR team, well let’s not even talk about them.. they are bunch of jokers .. specially people who lead the functions like HRBP and Talent Acquisition.. they are sitting and getting salaries for not doing a single paisa work… all they would do is shout on top of their voice in offices or act as spy and do information exchange from here to there.. founder has turned blind and deaf towards HR Functions.. inspite of such pathetic culture … HR team is never impacted or questioned.. across my experience haven’t seen such a bad HR team.. they should just remove Human from their names.. because they clearly aren’t human.. - AI is their new scapegoat.. blame everything on AI.. - Engineering culture used to be good.. but now that’s decline.. - they used to have good engineer culture till 2024..but it has just declined post that..
