Pros
I've been here for 8 months, and during these months, I've gained much knowledge and like-minded friends. One of the things I've learned is to learn more and to problem solve more, even when you're a senior. Everyone that I know here are responsible, empathetic, and a really good debater, which is rare in companies nowadays. The people here are eager to learn and discuss about software engineering problems which we encounter daily, so if you are that kind of person, you will probably enjoy this company. I've definitely learned a lot, and would recommend anyone to join this company for the sole purpose of learning from their peers/seniors. Pros: - Good peers - Good seniors and direct managers - Good place to learn, especially for fresh grad - Work hours are flexible (as long as you don't skip meetings) - Huge salary - Chill office if you're a WFO enthusiast - English-speaker friendly (we're using english in office)
Cons
My disappointment mainly comes from the executives (c-level). In the last 2 months, they've basically forced the RTO policy without listening to our voices which of course are against it. Now I'm a bit skeptical about our motto, "make it together", as they are definitely not including us in the process of "making it". Another disappointment comes from the silent layoff issue that they'll be doing in a short while. It's clear that the distrust between the c-level and the employees is getting bigger and bigger every day, and it's totally understandable that a lot of employees are quitting to join a job with a lower salary but with WFH policy or a more stable career (not worried about getting laid off every day). - C-level executives shoving decisions that don't make sense and we're the one suffering. - Massive layoff rumors (which most of the time, are true!) happening often - No free snacks/lunch nor free parking in the office. Most of the times people with car can't park in the office because it's full - Even though the salary is big, there are little to no benefits except insurance (and the insurance have changed from allianz to sinarmas which is super bad) - And lastly, my minor nitpick, office gym's equipment is lacking :(
