Great opportunities for developing really in-depth experience early in the career - you don't just audit bank statements for your first year!

Having worked at a couple of different accountancy / audit firms, this really does have a different culture in many ways, including work/life balance, supporting/promoting individuality, genuine value placed on client care etc. The firm has made a recent step change due to growth and the process has been really open, keeping the good culture at the forefront of decision making. It's made this a particularly interesting time to work here and the changes have been really positive. The opportunity to work almost exclusively with charity and NFP clients draws in a really likeminded group of colleagues, gives a greater sense of purpose than I've felt in other roles, and gives an insight into all sorts of amazing work being done by our clients in the region and wider country.

There had been some high workloads for the senior management team, but the recent work to review the firm's processes/structure etc has led to an increase in the SMT which has significantly eased this.
