Pros
People at lower levels actually care for each other
Cons
The leadership lacks prior work experience and is unfamiliar with effective team leadership and employee satisfaction. While great at delivering speeches at parties and external events, the leadership lacks substance. They advise other startups, but themselves lack experience, direction and frequently shift priorities, often deflecting blame onto employees for failures. Employees are told that unless they work 70 hour weeks, they aren't moving the needle. The company has undergone numerous rebranding efforts and keep changing what they actually do. The company lacks genuine concern for the nonprofits they support, prioritizing $$$ over social impact. The company completely lacks diversity and doesn't really care about the employees career growth. Valuable employees have been let go over time, and many more have recently been told about their short runway. This has instilled uncertainty and diminished confidence in the company's future among the workforce. The cofounders don't seem to see eye to eye anymore. Everyone sees the lack of direction and is looking for a way out.
