Pros
- Great colleagues - Decent benefits - Great place to grow as there are a lot of “projects” ongoing. - Great hires that are able to dissect and execute upon ideas. - Consider it if you’re looking for a salary bump, and short term career growth. Don’t expect to build a career here unless you’re foolish.
Cons
- Senior management (G8+) are generally incompetent and are only yes men, without having their own spine and opinion of self. - constant fire fighting and pivoting according to the flavor of the week. - Feedback is never truly genuine. All can look good during 360 feedback, but during calibration calls folks are more critical. - Work life balance doesn’t truly exist as teams constantly have back filled roles to hire. - Personal networking and constant sucking up is required to progress is certain teams. Very few dare to speak up to against more senior folks due to the fear of disrupting their rice bowls.
