Pros
I very much enjoyed the people I work with, there are some very solid sales-minded people who will be your teammates.
Cons
- There is no work life balance, you work long hours during the day, almost every night, and definitely every Sunday night to prepare the tasks required each Monday morning. - Management isn’t interested in your feedback or any challenges you’re having in your business. No matter what the issue, they appear to listen & then do nothing. - Salesforce (SF) has totally changed the way WWG does business and treats their customers and employees. SF is 100% the focus, it’s all then care about. You can be over goal in sales, and not have enough new contacts, or opportunities or tasks for the day/week and you’ll be reprimanded. - Reps are given so much busy or admin work in SF or other tasks that it takes away from the time you need to spend in the field or taking care of customer needs. Management expects you to be strategic yet you don’t have the time to do so because of all the extra busy work. - Customers are no longer the priority - New programs or initiatives are half baked and little to no beta testing. They roll out to the field to sell or promote, but when issues come up that contradict what they’ve told us will occur, nothing is done to correct it. We’re just told we’re either not selling it right, or to sell through it. - They don’t want tenured, strategic sales reps... they want people who will do data entry (SF) and say yes to everything.
