Pros

Onsite gym and cafeterias, some perks like occasional bonuses and treats for staff. The accolades are nice to hear. It's a good entry level position. First time office experience. Teaches you discipline and Corporate America's expectations.

Cons

Depending on the Department; the work is the same thing every day over and over. Most jobs could be easily outsourced or eventually replaced by computers although Granite claims that's not part of their plan. The work is mind-numbing and can be downright painful. It's a young crowd that consists of mostly millenials obsessed with gaming. It's competitive in the worst way and to be honest they are over staffed. There are Departments that literally have nothing to do 75% of the time.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
