Pros

Your contributions are valued both by your peers, superiors and your customers. Working in a team who always helps each other. In my particular position, the opportunity to work one on one to manage accounts for companies who rely solely on me as their one point of contact a Granite. Managing any and all situations, and each day is a new challenge. I am always learning about a new product or new solution to help a customer and I really enjoy that. I love Granite’s enthusiasm for charity work and giving back to the community and it’s employees. I enjoy going to work every day. People at Granite are friendly and accessible, you never feel respected and like you matter, no matter your position. I love the team environment and inclusiveness! The benefits are great - heath, dental, etc. Opportunity to earn bonuses, extra days off. An awesome gym.

Cons

Having lunch for everyone at 12 everyday can be a hassle, especially when trying to get into the cafe.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
