Pros

Gravity Haus is a genuinely positive place to work because the culture encourages teamwork, flexibility, and personal growth. The environment is fast‑paced but supportive, and leadership gives you room to learn, contribute, and take ownership of your role. You’re surrounded by people who care about hospitality, the outdoors, and creating great experiences for members and guests, which makes the workplace feel energetic and community‑driven. One of the biggest pros is the trust and autonomy employees are given. If you show initiative, you’re allowed to take on more responsibility, develop new skills, and grow within the company. The team dynamic is strong! departments communicate well, and managers are approachable and invested in helping employees succeed. It’s also a company that values wellness and balance, which shows in the benefits, the work environment, and the overall culture. Working here feels like being part of something active, modern, and forward‑thinking, and employees who enjoy hospitality and an outdoor‑focused lifestyle tend to thrive.

Cons

Gravity Haus is a growing company, and with growth comes some challenges. The fast‑paced environment can be demanding, especially during peak seasons, holidays, and major events. Communication between departments is generally good, but at times information moves quickly or changes last‑minute, which can create stress for frontline teams. Because the company is still evolving, some systems and processes are being refined, and employees need to be adaptable and comfortable with change. Workload can fluctuate depending on business levels, and staffing shortages can make certain days feel heavier than others. Expectations are high, and success often depends on being proactive, organized, and able to multitask. For employees who prefer a slower or more predictable work environment, the pace may feel challenging. Overall, the cons mostly relate to the natural growing pains of a young, expanding company and the fast‑moving nature of hospitality.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review. We're glad to hear that the culture, teamwork, and autonomy you've experienced reflect what we strive for, and it's great to know that leadership and cross-department communication are landing well. We also appreciate your honest take on the challenges of growth. Peak-season intensity and evolving systems are real growing pains for us, and we're actively working on strengthening processes and staffing to support frontline teams during our busiest stretches. Feedback like yours helps us prioritize where to focus. Thanks again for being part of the Gravity Haus team and for your contribution to that community-driven energy you described.

Pros

Coworkers were fun and I made good friends out of them.

Cons

Management is horrible. Training is nonexistent. They set you up to fail, and then fire you when you indeed make mistakes. Also ZERO work life balance. They don’t care about you as a human. The GM was there for 1 week to “train” me (aka let the front desk folks train), then left for 3 weeks with absolutely zero support. Would hang up on me when I needed manager support, and corporate wasn’t any better. I brought this up to corporate and was then fired.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback — we take reviews like this seriously and we're sorry your experience didn't reflect the culture we're working hard to build at Gravity Haus. We hear you on the onboarding and support concerns. Having the right structure and presence during someone's first weeks is something we're actively investing in, and your feedback reinforces why that matters. No one should feel unsupported when they need help, and we regret that was your experience. If you're open to it, we'd welcome the opportunity to connect directly. Please feel free to reach out to the people team — we'd like to understand your experience better. We wish you well, and thank you again for the candid feedback.
