You bring to mind one of our principles at GreatAmerica: we trust and treat each other with respect. Each of us, living this principle day in and day out, creates an atmosphere that is supportive. We lookout for each other and we empower our team members to do the right thing!
We appreciate your perspective that there is “a lot of management” making it difficult sometimes to move things forward. From our perspective, adding new leadership roles within the organization is one way we continue to invest in our people. Promotion from within is a critical aspect of our culture, but we know that in order to maintain the strong team-based environment where ideas can flow easily we must have strong training programs for our leaders and organizational processes. In combination, these assist in providing support for moving things forward. Thank you for this feedback, we truly appreciate it. As a result we will continue to evaluate our New and Tenure Leadership Development curriculum and our organizational systems, such as our Idea Forum, to ensure our team members do feel strongly supported by both so they may get their ideas across the finish line.
