Pros

For almost 6 months that I’ve been a digital marketing intern here at Grey Alchemy, I’ve learned a lot. My responsibilities include participating in creating digital strategy pitch decks, doing research for further ideas development, ideating CSR campaigns, and also helping out at the photoshoot. I have improved many skills, such as presentation skills, MS Office (especially PowerPoint), research skills, etc. Besides the actual work that I was assigned, I also gained more knowledge from bi-weekly team meetings and creative meetings where we shared learnings from what we’ve done for our clients (which are very diverse in terms of industry) and from other campaigns out there that we found interesting. Interning at GA made me understand more about the business world. Another thing that really made my good experience here become great is the people. Everyone here is super nice and fun to be with. The supervisors are all supportive and keen to teach me anything. Even though I’m an intern, I was treated as a real digital marketing executive. Plus, we have a clear separation of work time and relax time. At lunch, we all had lunch together, turned on the music, watched YouTube, or even played board games. So the overall atmosphere allowed us to work happily and comfortably.

Cons

None that I can think of

Pros

I absolutely enjoyed working at Grey Alchemy. I was as a digital marketing executive and strategic planner here for 3 years - handling client accounts, brainstorming social media content, copywriting, and creating strategies and pitches. I learned skills in content creation, reporting and managing clients on a daily basis. They gave me plenty of opportunities to learn hands-on, advance my career, and work with well-known clients and interesting projects across different industries. The team is tight-knit, professional, passionate, talented, and a joy to work with. The supervisors, in particular, are supportive and helpful. This is a workplace where everyone around you wants you to succeed and do well. They put a lot of effort in having a creative and relaxed work environment. The office building has great work desks, meeting rooms, and a rooftop for occasional parties. I liked that the fridge was always well-stocked with ice cream, fresh fruits, and drinks. They also provide a free fitness membership and weekly massages for all team members. If you’re looking to work at a digital marketing agency, I can’t recommend Grey Alchemy enough! You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better team, work culture and benefits anywhere.

Cons

It tends to get busy when clients request us to work on campaigns on top of regular content.
