A lot of opportunity for growth depending on the location, decent benefits, good sense of peer recognition for accomplishments.
Cons
Everyone, including your Regional Manager and Director, will easily show signs of stress. Some leadership roles have been achieved through relationships rather than performance, leaving RPMs and Directors underequipped for their supportive roles. Support system growth has not matched product growth, and can be incredibly difficult or time consuming to receive support with simple errors/issues. Modern rental culture does not support the well being of property managers; must have incredibly high mental fortitude and ability to shoulder negative commentary and undeserved blame.
