Pros

Being able to give the dogs there personal attention and training.

Cons

There isn’t enough words nor time to explain how horrible this place is! The employee turnover rate is 100% because the CEO & management team are negative & completely unprofessional! I have never been treated so poorly in my entire career! They say they are positive reinforcement trainers, when they use punishment & force with the dogs. The dogs have horrible living conditions and I actually witnessed a couple dogs die due to lack of veterinary care, it’s so sad to have had to been exposed to seeing these poor dogs suffer! I’m just in complete shock as to what I was ‘told’ during my interview versus what actually gones on at this place! Do not waste your time or mental health with working at this place! Management puts on a big show for donors & recipients, again very heartbreaking!

Pros

The dogs! They're hands down the best part of working there, they're the most intelligent, sweet, intuitive animals. In 3 years I've gotten to not only watch litters of puppies grow but grow into life saving medical service dogs. They never cease to amaze me every day. You're not only encouraged to play and love on the dogs it's a job requirement. The training style is positive and gentle, encouraging the dogs to think for themselves and make decisions to provide the life saving tasks for their recipients. All of the staff has a variety of reasons for being there but ultimately the goal is the same.

Cons

Like every work place, there are hard days. Unlike other working environments, you're encouraged to go cuddle a dog when those days happen.

Pros

The dogs are the only good part.

Cons

The way the dogs are treated and how they are improperly bred(glorified backyard breeders). These dogs live outside full time in FLORIDA, which people do. But claiming to be some high esteemed better than everyone else and treating the dogs the way they do is downright wrong. These dogs receive improper training before given to veterans and when the veterans start having problems they'll take the dog back. The work environment here is by far the worst thing I've ever experienced. I had panic attacks on the daily from the constant walking on eggshells. and when they say you've done something wrong they won't talk to you, they will SCREAM and I mean SCREAM at you. They claim to get rescue dogs, try maybe 1. They've had accidental mixed breed litters because they don't pay attention or care. There is no health standard amongst the dogs, they all have some sort of issue which they will blame on everything except for themselves. the CEO and COO are the most condescending, rude and despicable people with a narcisstic complex. I have never been talked down too the way they do. They brag about having over 100 dogs on property(4-6 dogs a kennel). If you care for your mental health at all, I recommend going the other way
