Pros
Easy company to work for. No micro managing. Relaxed environment.
Cons
Approval process has a thousand layers to get to final approval. Questioning dysfunctional processes is not well received.
There is a consistent air of distrust from every level of authority.
Hard work and loyalty are not fairly nor adequately compensated. Annual salary increase is below inflation and overall cost of living across the board...groceries, rent increases, gas, property taxes, transportation, general consumer goods including basic essentials, etc.
Management is unapologetically cheap. If employees ask for a raise, the response is... maybe this isn't the right fit for you.
Guggenheim is not a place to build a long term career. If you currently work there, use it to build skills, experience and networking. Take those assets and go to a firm that respects your value.
