Pros
I'm actually perplexed by the negative reviews on here. I work full time at Guidemark and have never had any of these negative experiences with my immediate manager or upper management. If anything one of the biggest pros is that upper management actually takes the time to speak to you and they CARE about your career progression and what you are passionate about. Everyone from the CEO to my immediate manager have been nothing short of completely supportive. They are also entirely open to new ideas and are not just about maintaining the status quo which I LOVE! The agency is very devoted to clients and their needs while keeping the most important people, the patients, at the center of EVERYTHING we do. The benefits are great (I have worked for a fortune 500 company with almost the same benefit package). The company has a "work hard, play hard" mentality which is awesome and they are very accommodating and totally get that everyone has families and that things come up. So if you are a person who likes sharing your ideas, likes progressing in your career, and genuinely care about making an impact in medical communications this is the right company for you. And as with any job, you get what you put in!
Cons
Any con since I have started would be related to COVID and being trained during the pandemic not the company and any of those difficulties are not unique to Guidemark. Many of my friend and family who have started new jobs in the past year across all different industries have had the same challenges. In fact if anything Guidemark has been more aware of these challenges than other companies and have provided me with more than enough support to get through them.
