Pros
Most of the people who worked there were long standing/serving dedicated employees. Many were friendly and fun to work with. The company benefits were fair, but could have been enhanced or more flexible. The location of the office was in a great part of central London (Hyde Park Corner/Knightsbridge) and conveniently located to get to.
Cons
At the time, the option to work flexibly was frowned upon and not always considered fairly or reasonably, yet some senior managers could do this as and when they wanted. One rule for some, another rule for others. During 2015 and 2016 there was a higher than usual turnover, and there were reasons for this. The dynamics and feel in the place had changed, in particular following the addition of a new CEO the year before, who was keen to make a mark, and make considerable cost savings and changes etc. Whilst implementing changes is good, the way in which this and certain other things were implemented, put additional considerable pressure on some, it also caused friction, frustration and anger amongst many employees. Many people were over worked, some working crazy long hours, whilst not getting adequate and fair support, many generally felt under appreciated, taken for granted and morale was generally quite low. This may have improved now and senior department heads have since changed.
