Pros

Get the opportunity to work on various projects, practice technical skills and work with some good folks that u form lasting friendships with. If ur desperately looking for a job, be sure to bring up the mandatory OT in ur interview.

Cons

DO NOT go into completions if ur not willing to do mandatory overtime (OT). The 4x10 schedule is not existent in completions engineering. There’s a whole bunch of foreign workers who have left their families and come here to make money aka OT. They don’t care if they r called fridays/Saturday’s or even sundays. If ur not willing to do that, management will compare u to these folks and that will work against u.

Pros

-Work in an air conditioned hangar! -All the tools and support needed to do the job -Excellent training available -Good safety culture -Fairly easy work -Lots of opportunities to grow

Cons

Big corporate politics at times. Some people just love to point fingers. Rules that are very excessive due to incompetence, instead of just firing morons.
