Pros
HAI was an organization with a GREAT mission. It was a great place to work. Great colleagues and bosses. Unfortunately, like so many great non-profits, it too suffered from founder syndrome. In the end, its demise was brought on by an incompetent board. A sad ending to what was once an outstanding company.
Cons
Low salaries (as is usually the case in such organizations) and the tragic circumstances of its ending.
