Pros
If you get lucky and get into interesting vertical (particularly one of the product teams) you might end up feeling like you own a startup (you will be dictating pretty much every single thing). Depending on the team and your performance - you might get fantastic work-life balance and get fully remote work (including flexible arrangements like schedules and work locations - workations are absolutely possible). In my opinion company is being choked by middle management - people who most of the time lack any skills besides micromanaging team members in India. It’s a shame, because at the same time upper management seems to be very interested in new ideas for growth.
Cons
Lack of vision, personal politics - people with proper contacts in HQ get promoted before top performers.
