Cons
1. For sales specially in Bancassurance ( largest business generating channel of HDFC Life) you've to deal with HDFC bank's employees. Being a third party provider it's very difficult for you to keep your self respect. You have to deal with humiliation everyday as unlike other Third Party Provider( like Demat, Credit cards etc.) you've to be in the branch for the whole day. 2. The Support system is very poor. In fact the resource management is pathetic. A fresher who's not well versed with system and intricate documentation is given responsibility of a big branch or many a times he has to handle two branches simultaneously. 3. Your personal development is tends to nil. No learning and development. It's a pure sales role and that too in retail. 4. Quality of people with whom you're dealing is very very poor. After MBA from reputed college working as a Management Trainee in sales would make you cry for sure. More than 90% Management Trainees have quit in the span of 4 years.
