You get a lot of flexibility, which is probably the biggest benefit. You can manage your own diary and choose the projects you want to take on, which makes a big difference to work-life balance. The day rates are good and reflect the level of work expected. The team are really supportive, and senior leadership are approachable and helpful — you don’t feel like you’re on your own even though you’re working quite independently.

Work can be a bit up and down at times as it’s project-based, so it’s not always consistent. You do need to be organised and comfortable managing your own workload. Some projects can be quite intense, especially when services are under pressure or heading towards inspection. There can also be travel involved depending on where the work is, and you don’t always get long-term continuity with the same service.

I have worked for HLTH Compliance since March 2025 and this is honestly the most rewarding role I have ever had. There is a warmth and passion underpinning the organisational culture and I feel my work is valued and appreciated. I have a great relationship with the team and have found that the CEO's honest and transparent leadership makes HLTH Compliance a great place to work.
