Pros

Great wines and possibility to make good money.

Cons

Low base/hourly pay. Short staffed and under water most days. Working extra hard for less money then previously as inflation continues.

Management and staff are professional but laid back. Very comfortable working there.

Pros

Lots of wine education and enough friendly team members to make most days go well enough.

Cons

I worked across from the head boss (whose name adorns the bottle) many days and had to deal with her Jekyll & Hyde personality regularly, being super nice to me one day, then coming in the next morning to find a scathing email written late the night before about something she didn't like in a social media post. My direct boss wasn't much better, regularly throwing me under the bus over things she told me to do that caused friction with boss noted above...and suddenly direct boss had no knowledge of that directive. The worst was being told I would be converted from internship to full-time hire, then waiting a month to find out in a group meeting that I was going to remain temporary. Team effort was challenging. Direct boss would tell me to reach out to the vintners for social media content, they would politely tell me they were busy (if not ignore completely), then boss would scold me for bothering them in the first place. Weirdness like that.
