Ability to learn a lot about many areas of the grocery business. PTO plan is generous. You can cap at 5 weeks vacation and 10 paid floating holidays.
Cons
All it takes to completely ruin your experience with this company is getting the wrong store manager transferred to your store. Little to no accountability for anything short of going against the company's social agenda. Racial epithets? Well, only 1 or 2 people heard it and they are late often so it's probably not true. Threats? Well, come on, that employee probably couldn't actually hurt the employee they threatened, so no big deal. Stealing? Well, we didn't see them in the moment so we can't do anything about it? Someone said something rude to an employee that happens to be trans, but Noone heard or saw? You'd think the managers went to the FBI academy the way they interrogate the suspects. And rest assured, they have a 100% closure rate on their cases. Also, if you aren't a woman or on the district supervisors pet list, you'll never rise above middle management. Most store level management are cowards and can't handle confrontation. This leads those of us who do our jobs to be labeled as bad guys. Too many managers worried about being everyone's friend instead of a leader.
