Pros

They have a nice office location in Manchester

Cons

Overly competitive calls-obsessed culture, management is unpleasant, long hours expected for low base pay. No different from any other recruitment company.

Pros

I joined Harper Harrison in 2016 and since joining my time has been extremely positive. The business is new to the real estate market but has excellent support and backing from the LHI group and all the tools and investment required for a consultant to do their job effectively. Any tools or investment required can be provided quickly and without delay. The management style is mature and positive meaning you are trusted to deliver but the support is there as soon as you want and need it. Team spirit is strong and clear boundaries between consultants exists so you have real sense of ownership of a market. The business has a great reputation and brand within clients which is associated with quality. As a consultant you are expected to focus on tighter efficiency ratios rather than a volume approach which is refreshing. Being part of a larger group means there are great incentives and earning potentially not usually found with traditional start-up.

Cons

It’s hard work building a business so hours can be long and if you are not 100% committed or if you are looking for an easy job then this may not be right environment.

Pros

Great commission and incentives Mature working environment- not a place where you are micro-managed Genuine career path forwards for every level Good support network from management/Director- actually cares The business has really strong relationships with some of the best companies in the sector Has benefits of a start-up combined with backing from bigger group.

Cons

It's a start-up so it's tougher to create a market than having warm accounts given to you. Markets are candidate short- can take time to develop relationships. Hours can be long but guess can be expected if you want to be a real success
