Pros

Good staff. These people are good at recruiting but horrible at retaining staff.

Cons

They have no sense of time management. 9 times out of 10, they are late for meetings. Your time is never respected, so be ready to always be disturbed outside office hours. Boss does not believe in WLB. Pay is rarely on time either. Aside from disrespecting your time, they also disrespect you. No professionalism whatsoever. The boss is a control freak too so be prepared to be micromanaged. They might reel you in by telling you that you will be able to have flexible hours or remote work... Watch these policies change the longer you stay. People say don't work for family businesses and the bosses will show you exactly why.

Pros

The business ideas and plans are definitely headed in the right direction, supported by an admirable vision for both parents and children. The company also makes an effort to care for staff welfare, such as providing company dinners. The colleagues I worked with were friendly, approachable, and great to collaborate with, and the culture among the employees was truly commendable.

Cons

From my experience back then, the company’s working style tends to push individuals to their limits in pursuit of high performance. While this can foster growth, it is also mentally draining and extremely tiring. Feedback shared on this platform often goes unacknowledged (even though much of it is accurate), and the language used within the company is frequently unprofessional—both of which reflect the broader management culture. Working hours can also be unpredictable; for example, discussions about work may begin as late as 5 p.m. and extend past 7 p.m., with no overtime pay, adding to the overall strain. If you join this company, expect to be challenged intensely; although you may grow from the experience, you should be prepared for a demanding and often exhausting environment. Overall, I would not recommend this company, especially for interns seeking a supportive and structured experience.
