Pros

Offer monthly birthday celebration cake with free lunch, offer CNY red packet, offer lunch/dinner meal whenever there is an important visitor arrival.

Cons

My observation for sharing does not constitute to any factual information, where this local company has no full time HR, there are high turnover where 4 executives had just left consecutively, there was 1 replacement came and left after 1-2 weeks. Extra-extremely stressful demanding assignments and questioning at times with vulgarity.

Pros

The company provides strong career growth opportunities, especially for employees who are willing to take on new responsibilities and challenges. There is good exposure to different areas of the business, which helps employees develop new skills quickly. Mistakes are generally accepted as part of the learning process, and there are many opportunities to learn through hands-on experience. The company culture is collaborative and fast-paced, with regular company lunches and gatherings. There is also regional exposure and occasional work travel depending on the role. Compensation is competitive, with 13th month, company bonus, and employee recognition rewards.

Cons

The fast-paced environment may not suit everyone. Management has a strong go-getter mindset and expects employees to adapt quickly, take ownership, and use good judgment. Therefore, feedback can be quite direct, especially when mistakes are repeated or when expectation is not met. Employees who prefer a slower pace or who take feedback personally may find the working style overwhelming as success here requires resilience, the ability to learn quickly, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone.

Pros

I have been with Harwin Singapore for several years and have had the opportunity to contribute across Finance and Administration. The business is relatively stable, and employees are generally given autonomy and trust to manage their responsibilities. Management encourages learning, personal development and continuous improvement. Employees are supported in expanding their knowledge, taking on new initiatives and contributing ideas that add value to the business. One aspect I particularly appreciate is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow beyond my core responsibilities.

Cons

As a lean organisation, employees may be required to take on responsibilities beyond their job scope. While some may view this as additional workload, others may see it as an opportunity to learn new skills and gain broader business exposure. The management style can be direct, which may not suit everyone. Expectations are high, and employees are expected to take ownership, adapt to change and continuously improve.
