Pros

Colleagues and management are very supportive. Short shifts available, mine was 3pm - 7pm Monday - Friday. Rewards issued out every time you receive a compliment from a client Breakroom Treats! No one is micromanaging. Clock in, do what you're supposed to do, and that's that. There's a high level of R-E-S-P-E-C-T. No one is treated like a child.

Cons

Certain clients can really wear you down. Pay raises are slow, but steady.

Pros

Hastings Humans is a small family owned business located in downtown Austin. Everyone from Scott (Supervisor) to Susan (HR ) to Paul M (Former Supervisor) were nothing but helpful and friendly in my short time with them. If you are looking for a great place to work where the people are positive, friendly and helpful then Hastings is the place to be! The support that I found there is unmatched by a lot of previous places that I have worked. They will train you and get you ready to become one of the very best in taking messages for local and out of town businesses near and around Austin. They are open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week since they are a small call center, so it is possible that you could work until 11 pm at night or possibly overnight if the need is there. There are also great opportunities for advancement. Hastings truly makes you feel like family!

Cons

The pay starts a little low. This can be tough if you live in Austin , but it's better than nothing.
