Pros
Family owned. Wonderful showroom-esque work environment. Great core values. Strong community engagement. A lot of really good people work here. Strong focus on what the customer is thinking, feeling, and perceiving. Most Haworth employees/members work with the customer in mind in all actions. Smart products.
Cons
Rough/sloppy/unintelligent implementation of SAP, ongoing multiple years(over 10). Core values pushed, but employees/members must sacrifice their work life balance to help company in contradiction to those values. Company does not acknowledge or seem to appreciate those sacrifices 85% of time. For every three good people there seems to be one who the rules don't apply to, or is completely inept. Production and support of production requires employees/members to preform extra hours and heroics to keep schedules. Some plants have revolving doors around plant managers and Manufacturing Engineers, making it tough for plant workers and those in support of plants. Transparency in decisions and people, aka "members", of Haworth is commonly spoken of by management, but opacity is sometimes achieved, transparency never.
