Pros

Co-workers. We help each other out as much as we can.

Cons

Some supervisors are good. On the other hand, some are not. Daily, my current sup passes out all of our stats for the previous day and highlights any area that needs improvement and writes negative comments on them and we know when we don't meet a quota or stat, giving us negative feedback everyday does not help anyone. it brings morale down and makes an already hard job harder. No positive feedback for the good things and so many system issues every single day does add to the negative stats and if we are supposed to strive for 1st call resolution and we have to make calls out to collection agency's for example because Healthnet denied their claim when it should have been paid and we denied it again and they end up in collections we have to put the member on "hold" to make phone calls. so penalizing us for those hold times is ridiculous. Just like the fact that Healthnet continues to deny claims that should of been paid because the claims department is so behind they have a practice of "deny everything its quicker" if member doesn't like it they can ask for the claim to be sent back and the sad part is that we send those claims back and 90% get denied again and they are valid claims! Then the only thing we can do is file a grievance for the member and send it off and hope for the best.

Pros

Once you are hired on permanently as an employee, the benefits are great. Promotions happen quickly as long as you are trying your best. Also employees are able to decide whether or not they want to work remotely from home or in the call center or hybrid

Cons

Training classes are held via zoom which can make learning a new product difficult. The trainer is unorganized and hard to follow because of technical issues and The flow of the curriculum.

Pros

Remote work, good benefits, online education opportunities.

Cons

Constant conserns around layoffs. No bonuses below Supervisor. Benefits are expensive even though they are the underwriters of their policies. Employees are not treated as a valuable resource.
