Pros

You can speak Chinese in most times. Yes, you can debug the production environment. Yes, you can learn a lots of stuff.

Cons

Tech leader suggests "we will try to not work at weekends" on the first day. Then it turns you MUST work on at least half day on Sunday afternoon, because your colleague will ping you on slack. Unrealistic project schedules and pressured work environment. No one really leave before 6PM and everyone arrives before 9PM. Work overtime everyday.

Pros

-From my area, significant autonomy in how you work with customers as long as you can show positive results and successful relationships -Open communication between our team and leadership -Room to grow and take on new challenges, even outside of your immediate area of work/responsibilities -Team members always ready to take time to work with you on an issue or explain a concept -New offices are a significant upgrade, with large kitchen and more working space

Cons

More like challenges... -There can be a lot of work if you plan on being successful here (but to be fair, it's a start up) -Team is growing so you need to be self-motivated when starting out, as few can or will hold your hand through every single challenge or the sizeable learning curve -If you are not used to making some calls on your own and explaining them later, this might not be the right fit
