Pros

The immediate team was solid and the office location was fine.

Cons

. Frequent restructuring announcements created repeated disruption without delivering meaningful improvements. . Responsibilities and reporting lines constantly changed, leading to ongoing confusion about who was accountable for what. . Departments and teams were repeatedly reshuffled, making it difficult to maintain any stable workflow. .Employees were forced to continually relearn processes that were often replaced before they could be fully established. . Underlying operational problems were never addressed, with changes focused on structure rather than real fixes. . Constant reorganizations undermined morale and made progress feel temporary and unstable. . The ongoing cycle of change led to disengagement as employees lost confidence in any lasting improvement.

Pros

I couldn't even think of a pro

Cons

Results mattered over how people were treated. High turnover rates. Leadership style felt intimidating and dismissive rather than supportive. Feedback often came across as critical instead of constructive. I was repeatedly told I needed to be “meaner” to succeed, which did not align with my values or leadership style. High expectations were not matched with mentorship or guidance. Communication from upper management felt inconsistent and, at times, exclusionary. The culture leaned heavily hierarchical, with limited collaboration. Meetings could feel tense and high-pressure, with little clarity around what factors were within an employee’s control. Overall, this was not an environment where I felt supported or set up for long-term success. After leaving, I needed time to reset and reflect before stepping into my next role. That alone speaks to how intense and draining the environment had become for me.
