Pros
Great, motivated co-workers. Usually recent grads looking for a foot in the door to get to know and work with people in the industry
Cons
The Owner is terrible. This in one of the most abusive work environments I’ve ever worked at. I know for a fact that women who worked there doing the exact same jobs as the men received lower wages. The owner would frequently send all caps emails in the middle of the night going off about things he’d heard and was seething about for days. Reasons for him writing these all caps emails included things like saying “no problem” when speaking with a client that was thanking you for helping them. He has threatened legal action against former employees for not helping him with the administration of his business even after they no longer work there. In my time there which was about 3 years, employees lived in constant fear that one day they would be fired at the whim of the owner with zero recourse. The owner even went as far as having his payroll company conduct “anonymous” HR surveys in which the payroll companies identified the employees who answered the questions. I could not recommend a workplace less. Do not work here. There are other places that will treat you well and you will learn a ton about the industry. This place is terrible.
