Pros

If you're looking to be a full-time technician for life, this could be the place to settle. They're pretty nice and the pay is good. The managers are understanding as well. You'll have bad luck days; it all depends on how good you are whether you can make up for them though.

Cons

In general being a tech at a dealership can be physically and mentally challenging. Everyone tries in their own way, though.

Pros

1) My salary was competitive(around 65k/year on average) and with good arguments I got good raises every year(For my position, I can't speak for other positions in this dealership). 2) It was not too difficult working with the service managers/advisors/technicians. The team was understanding and supportive if you communicated with them on their level. "Treat everyone equally different" 3) If you prove yourself they provide you opportunities to grow internally(Hendrick is very centered around internal growth in general). 4) Benefits are good. 5) Good work/life balance. I really enjoyed working there for the years that I did. Sometimes I think back and wonder if I regret leaving this position and this company, but I wanted a REMOTE position with a different type of growth opportunity. This position is a very comfortable position for those who don't want major change in their life. It's for those who want to be around 1 area for a long time and that wants to live comfortably, not for those that are more ambitious and that want more out of life.

Cons

The only cons I had working here can be summarized by them being a bit stuck in their ways. 1) The DMS that was used feels outdated. 2) This position could have been remote or hybrid, but I wasn't. I feel like there are people who are working there in-person that could be working and managed remotely. 3) They had systems that worked, but if a problem occurred that is reoccurring, they put a band-aid on it instead of providing a permanent solution. It was at least manageable and it provided job security for me.

Pros

I loved the company, Mr.Hendrick is still hands on which is awesome (and fantastic person to meet which I met him several times) and I loved the brand and BMW is an awesome brand to work with. Health Benefits are amazing

Cons

Management, I was there 6 years and I loved working with cars, loved my team mates but the management is whats stopping that place from being awesome. Last minute sundays that management knew was coming just didnt tell because they didnt want confrontation and the leadership is just not on the same page. Desk managers want to make deals but there is one person in the team that will stop or hold up the decision making because he has to have final say....but guess what hes never there. is at lunch or out in a lot car or in a "meeting" which means he drove home or the other side of town for an expensive coffee. The lack of support and then shady workings of the management team really kill it for everyone, Id recommend Northlake bmw, the team is a beast there but they atleast stand up for you and acknowledge the BS.
