Pros

It is an interesting job, with very nice people. Possibility to learn a lot, how a big company is working. Usually your opinion is very much appreciated, in fact expected. So this is helping to grow and having own point of views. Good colleagues and good line managers, so every day mood is good among very kind and nice people. It is a quite “safe” job, however currently high firing wave is expected. Very good company values which is very much appreciated however changes are slow as company profit always stands on first place

Cons

Despite of high workload and intense working, salary is below average and also the willingness of leaders to increase it, is not existing. If they have interest to do so, they will, but they often find the way how to not increase.. Not so high flexibility with home office and very limited flexibility in having exceptions. Rules are done just for lowest level employee, while line managers are free to do how they want.

Pros

The job is not too difficult. You mainly work on your own, Pay and benefits are outstanding.

Cons

12 hour shifts. Only one tech per shift so vacations can be a bit dicey. Support from peers is low and there is a lot of back biting in the lab. Sometimes they seem to be lookng for a scapegoat.
