Cons
After a positive onboarding process my manager and team support disappeared within weeks of me starting. Very isolated and kept out of the dark, with no leadership or project management present. A week before Christmas we were pulled into a company wide meeting and told totally impersonally that redundancies were happening. Within a few hours I was gone, locked out of my laptop with zero comms from my management. No redundancy consultation was had either, so pretty sure it was all done illegally. I was so excited about this opportunity and everything they seemed to have to offer as a new start up. Sadly they seem to have grown too quickly too soon without much of a plan, and as a result it’s their people and their families who are now suffering for it.
