Pros

Good culture, people and a will to improve A variety of products and tech stacks with opportunities to learn and work on different things that suit you Career and salary progression generally good, I never felt overlooked 'Hive days' are great for learning new tech and opportunities to teach and share information as well

Cons

An endless void of technical debt holds development back in certain products Sometimes you can be stuck on one product for a long time and miss out on opportunities that other people get who happen to work on newer products The process for a Senior promotion involves making a presentation about yourself and how great you are in front of a leadership panel (who probably already have a good idea of where you stand and your achievements), I still cringe thinking back on that experience. Your PowerPoint presentation skills shouldn't be a barrier for what is a fairly normal title change.
