Pros

I can not give a pro - there aren't any

Cons

* The food is HORRIBLE. * The pay is WORST - $5-$6 less than any other hospital * Management - They will randomly cut your hours from 40 to 20 and continue hiring more people. * Advancement - No room for that. Every advanced position is locked in with several people in line waiting. * If you do not speak Spanish, you will not advance. The patient to clinician ratio can be very dangerous at times. We've worked with two therapist for the entire hospital. Our therapist for the E.R covers the E.R, as well as the NICU, and sometimes have 20+ treatments on the floor

Pros

All units get along for the most part, micromanaging is less than in other hospitals. There's a lot of teamwork. Healthy for the most part. Leadership for Med/Surg and Telemetry is pretty.. meh. Critical Care and ER are pretty good. We tend to have decent staffing

Cons

We run at BARE MINIMUM supplies Sometimes simple things as linens, wipes, Dinamaps and bedside monitors aren't calibrated or working properly. The WoWs to document are terribly old and nothing gets maintained. The hospital is old and outdated and needs a refurbishing asap but no one would do anything.
