Cons
The company's frequent strategic shifts every 4-5 months create instability, impacting team dynamics. Employees are manipulated into feeling indebted and forced to act against their own morals. An example is a mandatory request to leave coerced, falsely positive Glassdoor reviews in April 2, 2024. Despite management's overconfidence, the company's inability to retain or attract customers leads to settling for less desirable projects. A direct result of this situation was six employees being unfairly dismissed, publicly criticized for alleged moral issues unrelated to their performance. When someone leaves the company willingly, management claims they were underperforming, cowards[sic] and not suited for Hikko. Employees are overstretched across multiple projects while others are unallocated and dismissed. This forces them to mislead customers about meeting conflicts, without support. Their struggle to meet demands, often requiring 16-hour days, unfairly portrays them as incompetent. The lack of defined career paths and growth opportunities, with roles and expectations constantly changing, leaves employees without support for promised advancements. Despite assurances, pursuing certifications for growth occurs in personal time, exacerbating the strain of already excessive work hours.
