At the Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites Calgary Downtown, the hotel team is genuinely wonderful, friendly, supportive, and professional. Unfortunately, their positivity is overshadowed by the dysfunction within the Sales department.
Cons
The Sales department suffers from extremely poor leadership. The environment is toxic, dominated by excessive micromanagement and a lack of trust. Morale is consistently low and turnover is very high, most new hires leave within 6 months and some quit within weeks. As a Dual Sales Manager, you will feel isolated from the rest of the hotel team and excluded from the collaborative hotel culture that exists outside the department.
